I’ve just purchased an Audi A6 from Buckingham in Woking. I often don’t bother writing reviews but had to for this company. I called on Friday afternoon to ask about a car I’d seen advertised on autotrader and found Bradley most helpful, knowledgeable and genuine so I visited the showroom the following morning. I had never bought a car from a garage before but after meeting Bradley and seeing the car in very good condition with a full service history at a reasonable price I realized that this place was a very good one to buy from. I can honestly say you can purchase a car here with confidence knowing that you’ll be looked after and if any subsequent problems do occur with the car you can rest assured you’ll be dealt with fairly and professionally. It has been a pleasure buying a car from Bradley at Buckingham and have already recommended him to friends. I do realize this review sounds like I have a business affiliation but I don’t! – I just believe a good business should be broadcast. Have had the car a week now and am absolutely delighted with it. We purchased a VW EOS (2litre TFSI Auto) from Buckingham. It is a beautiful car. The EOS has a retractable metal folding roof which converts the car into a convertible. Unfortunately, after 4 months it developed a serious fault with the roof failing to open fully. As we live in Mid-Wales, we first took it to a VW dealer who confirmed a serious problem. Buckingham asked us to bring the car in for them to investigate. . As it could not be fixed in a day, they provided us with a courtesy car which they filled with fuel. Rachel looked after us while we waited and provided us with cash for lunch and even drove us to a café. The service team worked on the car, taking a week to sort the complex problem out. The whole team greeted us when we returned to collect the car and gave us a detailed explanation of the work done. The roof is now working perfectly. The car had been valeted and they insisted on filling the car with fuel. All the work was done at no cost to us. The team, Billy, Neil, Alex, Rachel and Bradley were fantastic. I cannot recommend the service provided too highly. Thank you.

I was looking for an Audi A4 and targeted Buckinghams, in spite of them being over 30 miles from my home, on the basis of all of the positive reviews – and it was a great decision. So here I am, leaving my own positive review… I’m sure all of the Buckingham sales people are equally good but I dealt with Bradley. There was zero pressure. He showed me round the car and then left me with as much time as I needed to look over the car, to test drive it and make my mind up. I decided to buy the car but before I could drive it away, Bradley insisted that I collect it later to allow them time to do a presales check (the car was a recent part exchange) – and that check revealed that the clutch was worn; something I’d not noticed. Many less conscientious companies in the car trade would have kept quiet about that. But I got a call. Bradley explained the findings and told me I’d need to wait a couple of days while they replaced the clutch. In a word, outstanding.
Fell in love with my dream car so made the journey from South Wales to make the purchase. Billy went above and beyond to accommodate us. Unfortunately the car developed a fault but instead of fobbing us off Billy once again went above and beyond by giving a full refund!!! Even though I had a bad experience with this purchase I would definitely return to Billy at Buckingham and would definitely be happy to purchase with this garage again. Thank you Helen from Wales

I have only had outstanding service from Buckingham VW Audi Woking and once again my current experience has been no different. I had booked an appointment during Christmas period to have reprogramming and calibration of the gearbox done by the Audi Specialist. Due to unforseen circumstances that appointment couldnt take place and I was contacted personally by Bill, the company director, whom took it upon himself to make arrangements for me to be seen as soon as possible (next day). Bill a top bloke, spent the day with him, was a pleasure to meet him. Alex and the Audi Specialist in the service department. Top marks to them both, great guys. Whilst waiting, Rachel and Cathy in the office making sure my refreshments was constantly topped up,with biscuits on the side. From the boss down to the staff, very attentive to the needs of the customer. I travel over an hour to reach Buckingham VW Audi Woking, which is worth it when the service and treatment you get is 1st class.

I had to travel quite a way to get to Buckingham so was totally reliant on Andy being my eyes and ears, the car was exactly as described and more. Andy is nothing other than approachable and professional, no high pressure sales that makes you want to run for the hills, just good old fashioned customer service..

Buy without worry here. I haven’t bought a second hand car for years as I had company cars so I was a little worried. The car I bought did have an unforeseen problem but there was no question or arguments about them fixing it and taking responsibility for it even at great cost to themselves. We bought a VW Tiguan from Billy of VW Audi Buckingham. My wife always wants a reverse camera. But the car only came with all-around parking sensors. Apparently adding a reverse camera in this car is not a straightforward job. Because the dashboard screen is already used to show the visual of the all-around parking sensors, how is it going to show the camera image? To that, Billy was very nice sourcing the right devices to ensure we benefit from both the camera and the all-around parking sensors. The new device, which reportedly can show the camera image and the sensor image on the same screen, is very expensive. To alleviate the cost, Billy bought the computer of the old sensor (which will be useless to us when the new is fitted) from us. That is very kind of him. We’ve driven the car for a week now. We are just waiting for the new camera to be delivered and fitted. Fingers crossed. Billy said many times that it’s easy to sell cars. But it is hard to make sure customers are happy to refer new customers and come back to them when another car is needed. He told me all of the cars are fully checked and MOT’d before they are sold. I think what he does shows. Our Tiguan definitely looks and drives like new. Many of my neighbours have already come to see our new car, and some of them are going to see Billy soon.

Over the last 14 years between myself my wife and daughter have bought about 10 cars from Buckinghams – reason is obvious – they care, as a sales rep on the road all the time i need to know my back is covered and they have not let me down once, no hesitation in recommending them.
Bought a car which suffered a diesel injector failure after a few days. VW should have replaced all the injectors as part of a factory recall but they refused (poor form, VW). Buckingham replaced faulty part within 24 hours. Great service. Great experience.

I recently purchased my second car from Buckinghams being a Vw Golf 1.9 TDI golf match very happy with the car and would happily recommend. By myself and family (Parents have used for past 5 years) for servicing and recent MOT’s alot cheaper than going main dealer for servicing, as a precautionary measure before my journey to Fife i was assured genuine parts were used. (Did a little research when i see the Quantum oil barrels i sore in there workshop i had a full service and Cambelt & Waterpump carried out but i had to leave the vehicle overnight due to the wrong part from supplier which wasnt a issue. Bottom line would Recommend to anyone
In November 2014 i bought a 2004 golf 1.6 FSI from Buckingham’s with an extended warranty. The original warranty has already covered the cost of a new nox sensor (?553) and part of the central locking system which needed replacement. We bought my wife’s car from Buckinghams 2 years ago and found their service to be exceptional. I have recently bought myself a VW passat estate after asking Russel and Bill to find this car for me. No request was too difficult for them. They sourced the car for me in no time at all. There were a few niggles on the estate but this was sorted without question. I bought my Audi TT from Buckingham Cars in May,unfortunately it had a few problems. When I contacted Judd and his team, they were always courteous and professional. They went above and beyond warranty coverage getting my car repaired. Excellent customer service and support.
My Ford Fiesta failed the MOT test on emissions.Judd explained what to do to remedy the problem and I bought the car back an hour later,it was checked and it passed. Thanks for your help and I will recommend Buckinghams to my friends.
My daughter has bought two cars from and had several services with Buckingham, and has been very pleased with them. She recommended them to me and I have had excellent service over the last 2 years; I in turn recommend them to anyone else.
I bought a 2010 Audi A4 2.0 TFSI Estate from Buckingham Audi/VW centre in Woking last January (2015). The car had the standard warranty.
A month or two after buying the car I noticed that the car had lost or burned a considerable amount of engine oil over a mileage of less than 2,000 miles.
I had the oil usage monitored and found that the car was burning approximately one litre of oil every 1,000 miles. This is, apparently, a known problem with this engine.
I contacted Buckingham and spoke with the service manager, a very efficient and professional chap called Judd.
He instructed me to bring the car into them for checking. Which they duly did and they confirmed the high oil usage.
They then carried out a very extensive, and extremely expensive, repair to the engine. Replacing Pistons, con-rods and other items required. All, I must add, at no cost to me.
One thing or another were needed as follow-up repairs after that major repair, after the expiry of the warranty period, and at each time Buckingham have repaired the car, at no charge to me, and without any quibbling whatsoever.
I have since run the car for a good few thousand miles since that initial repair, to be able to fully check for any faults and can confirm that the oil usage problem has completely disappeared.
One hears so often of poor service from car dealers so I feel I must give credit where it is due. To that end, it is my opinion that Buckingham, and in particular the service manager Judd, have performed to a highly commendable standard and I have no hesitation in recommending them, as I have already done so on several occasions since.
I will most certainly be buying my next car from them even though I live near Brighton which is some large distance away from them.
Bought a used car, which wasnt expensive, but i was treated like a new car customer. A small issue cropped up, more nusisance value than a defect, but the service guys dropped everything and had it sorted out inside 24 hours. Exemplary service standard…….Guess where my next car is coming from.
Bought my Pasaat from Buckinghams at the end of February this year. Staff were great even better the car is a dream to drive 6 speed auto box gives good mpg. Will be going back when we change our other car, thank you Keith and all the other staff.
